Let me start with saying this is by far the worst book I have ever read, it is not even worth trying to read. I absolutely hated the writing style of this book it felt like the narrative was always in third person and this hindered my ability to connect with the characters or the story. I completely did not understand the plot line or the fact that the authors jumps between so many characters points of view that it makes it so confusing that you begin to lose interest in the book. The characters lacked depth had were not well written at all, lets start with Julia who was a spineless cheater who could not get out of a toxic relationship in which she was getting raped almost everyday. Darius who is supposed to be an alpha billionaire never seemed to care about what was going around him or even what was happening in his business, he was always saying he is the boss and can do whatever he feels like. The characters of Bob and Anderson were just creepy and they seemed to get away with all the stalking they were doing. Thomas, I felt was a rapist because he always forced himself on Julia even when she said no and even he ended up getting away with that kind of despicable behavior. There was no chemistry between any of the characters, it felt like the author did not pay much attention when writing the book and even though this book ended on a cliffhanger I am not even mildly tempted to read the rest of the series.
Darius White, a seclusive 25 year old billionaire, is driven to success after his parents untimely death. He now successfully runs his fathers real estate business and has opened up his own publishing house called Darius Publishing. Darius has no interest in connecting with anyone, until he meets Julia. The moment they both meet there is a sizzling attraction that they cant deny.
Julia. a 22 year old writer ran way from her parents house to New York in order to succeed, swhich leads her to applying for a job at Darius Publishing. Her condition is that she must be able to work from home as she has some personal issues. Will Darius be able to get closer to Julia and find out what her personal problems are?
