The Protector (Sons of Texas #2)

The Protector

(This review is based on the ARC provided by the publisher via Net Galley)

This is the second book in the Sons of Texas series and it follows the story of Mia and Cullen. I loved this book as much as I loved the first book because it keeps both the suspense and romance alive as well as it gives many answers to the mystery that has been unfolding from the first book. Cullen's character was lighter and more playful than his brother and I really enjoyed his alpha male and protector side. I also loved Mia's character because she was strong and independent and could fend for herself. The chemistry between Cullen and Mia was off the charts and I really enjoyed their heart to heart scenes. The writing in this book was again flawless and Donna didn't fail it keeping the reader intrigued throughout the book. This series has made me a fan of Donna Grant and her characters and I am eagerly waiting the last book in this series.

Rating: 4.5/5
