Wild Kisses (Wildwood #2)

Wild Kisses

(This review is based on the ARC provided by the publisher via Net Galley)

This was a sweet and passionate contemporary romance and the second book in the Wildwood series. I loved this book because of it's brilliant writing and scorching hot chemistry. It was my first time reading a book by Skye Jordan and she manages to bring her characters to life with her heart wrenching writing and unique story. Traces's character was brilliantly conceived and I loved his alpha male side as well as the way he was trying to change his reputation and repent for his mistakes. I also enjoyed Avery'S character because she was strong and independent because she didn't let her past issues knock her down. My favourite part of this book was the chemistry between Avery and Trace especially their intimate scenes which was written so brilliantly that it would leave the reader hot and bothered. The only thing I would like to have seen is the beginning of Avery and Traces's relationship when they first met to start the construction of the bakery. Overall all a wonderful book which has made me a fan of Skye Jordan.

Rating: 4/5

Plot

Avery Hart who was recently divorced, returns to her home town of Wildwood to fufill her dream of starting a bakery by turning their family bar into a café.The contractor, Trace Hutton, is a sexy ex con who is trying to rebuild his reputation and business after getting out of jail.

Trace can't afford to be thinking of the irresistible baker and all the explicit things he wants to do to her. Trace and Avery, both eventually give into their attraction and end up spending a steaming night together after which they both realize they might want more than one night together. Will Avery and Trace be able to let go off their past and demons to make the relationship work.
