Kiss the Sky
I was absolutely addicted to this book because it was so unique and intriguing and I was unable to put the book down because it was refreshing to read a different type of love story. It was my first time reading a book by Krista and Becca Ritchie and I really enjoyed their dual point of view writing style as well as the ease at which they discussed such important issues. I loved Connor's character because he was an alpha male who protected his girlfriend and her family, he was also intelligent and not impulsive as well as he was able to calm a room down with his presence. Rose's character was childish and impulsive at times which made her annoying especially when she never wanted to ask for help when it was needed. The secondary characters of Lily, Loren, Ryke and Daisy were well written as well as out of the box and I really enjoyed seeing their personalities come out during the reality show. The chemistry between Connor and Rose was explosive and I loved how they built up their relationship by being friends first and I adored the fact that they always challenged each other intellectually. Overall this was a brilliant book, filled with a unique story, loads of drama, scorching hot chemistry and relatable characters.
Rose Calloway is a Princeton graduate, an entrepreneur fashion designer and the daughter of a Fortune 500 mogul and she loves to be in control of everything around her, but that is very difficult when her sister is a sex addict.
Rose, as a last resort, agrees for her life to be filmed for a reality show in order to save her struggling fashion line as well as her fathers company. She is forced to make nice with the Hollywood producer who is bent on making their lives a living hell.
Connor Cobalt is a twenty four year old who is confident, intelligent and who lives with his equally ambitious girlfriend Rose Calloway. Connor has to find a way to protect Rose from the producer without ruining the reality show, or else the producer will get what Connor has always wanted - rose's virginity.
