Bare Ass in Love

Bare Ass in Love

This is my first time reading a book by Sasha Burke and I really enjoyed a book after a long time because the author's dual point of view style of writing was fun, light and almost flawless. Summer's character is fun, hardworking, intelligent and different and I loved that the book addressed the sexism present in some job fields, however I would have liked more insight to her past. Jason's character was your typical alpha male billionaire, but at the same time he was very down the Earth and I absolutely loved his character especially when he would get jealous and possessive. The chemistry between Jason and Summer was explosive and definitely one of my favorite parts of the book. I did wish that the book had a bit more drama and detail, but never the less it was brilliant book and I look forward to reading other books by Sasha Burke.

Rating: 4.5/5

Plot

Jason is a billionaire builder who does not usually consider blurring the lines between boss and employee, but Summer is a sexy temptation who is obsessive over work details. She is a good tenant and employee who does not throw herself at Jason because he is rich.

Summer thinks Jason is a saint because he hired her for her dream job and gave her an extravagant loft to live in. He can be a grouch when Summer wakes him up in the middle of the night to discuss work, but he still a great boss and landlord. But one day Summer begins to notice Jason as a hot and sexy man and sparks begin to fly between the two.
